```Duties```
- Schedule surgical procedures and coordinate all necessary resources and personnel
- Communicate with patients to provide pre-operative instructions and answer any questions or concerns
- Coordinate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other medical staff to ensure smooth scheduling and preparation for surgeries
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of surgical schedules, patient information, and other relevant documentation
- Collaborate with insurance providers to obtain pre-authorization for surgical procedures
- Assist in the coordination of pre-operative testing and evaluations
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies related to surgical scheduling and patient confidentiality
```Skills```
- Strong administrative skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with patients, medical staff, and insurance providers
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures related to Surgery Scheduling
- Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining records and documentation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service
