Position Summary
Reporting to the Senior Director of Administrative Operations, the Supply & Operations Coordinator is responsible for maintaining the Supply Center inventory, onsite business and event operations as well as supporting administration and equipment distribution needs. The successful candidate will be organized, responsible and reliable.
Essential Functions
- Receives, sorts, and distributes mail & packages, including scanning & shipping.
- Maintains family supply center and updated inventory, including purchasing, receiving, stocking, and tracking.
- Packages family supply center orders for pickup.
- Utilizes a fleet vehicle to distribute orders (as backup).
- Supports Program, Development, Admin and Executive staff with onsite event facilities and administration needs.
- Collaborates with Development staff with supply drives and distribution.
- Supports Administrative Operations Manager with IT equipment distribution.
- Supports Program staff with supply drives and distribution.
- Sources and orders facilities and administrative supplies (as needed).
- Works and is cross-trained with the Admin Operations Coordinator and Facilities & Operations Coordinator.
Other Tasks
- Adheres to the MCC’s security guidelines and ensures the appropriate handling of sensitive information.
- Completes special projects specific to the department's function or as needed for the department as directed by the supervisor.
- Other duties as assigned within the scope of position expectations.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to work independently with a high level of responsibility and reliability and contribute as part of a larger team.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Current driver’s license and clean DMV records required. Ability to drive large vehicles (SUV, minivan, small box truck) in city and suburban conditions.
- Strong interpersonal skills as demonstrated by compassionate, courteous, cordial, cooperative, and professional interaction with diverse groups of co-workers, community partners, clients, and members of the community.
- This position is required to physically stock shelves, move client supplies, operate freight elevator, etc.
Experience, Education, and Licensure
- Minimum of High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Candidates will have 1-3 years of experience in retail, warehouse or distribution, or equivalent education.
- Must be detailed oriented with good organizational skills and able to complete regular tasks carefully and completely.
- Experience with online retail, data management, and Excel a plus.
