Overview:
The Supplier Enablement Manager is responsible for developing the strategy and implementation of enabling suppliers on Ariba platform. The ideal candidate will own the process of on-boarding strategic suppliers to the Ariba Network, will manage the lifecycle of onboarding suppliers, and will track compliance to the process. Key aspects of this role will focus on continued coordination between suppliers and internal stakeholders as well as Strategic Sourcing and Procurement, and other relevant internal stakeholders. This role will be responsible for helping to socialize the Supplier Enablement process to the organization and troubleshoot issues that may arise in the enablement process.
Responsibilities:
- Develops and manages Supplier Enablement strategy.
- Coordinates all aspects of enabling suppliers on the Ariba platform, including coordination of supplier data collection and being the contact with Ariba to provide required data.
- Communicates business and technical requirements and ensures suppliers are complying to e-procurement processes.
- Attend and participate in regular enablement project status calls.
- Leads supplier integration activities, including integration testing to ensure supplier connectivity to the Ariba Network is established according to plan.
- Participate in and support supplier training webinars/summits.
- Reinforce program compliance with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Works with suppliers to meet deadlines and ensures successful onboarding to Ariba.
- Responds to supplier issues and questions relating to the enablement process and assists in resolving issues between suppliers and the Ariba Network.
- Coordinates communications and develops and maintains training related to Supplier Enablement on the Ariba Network.
- Partners with Strategic Sourcing & Procurement and other stakeholders to identify new suppliers, keep supplier contact information current, and manage relationships with existing suppliers on the Ariba Network.
- Coordinate enablement related cutover activities with Catalog Enablement & Technical leads.
- Primary contact for seller integration project coordination, escalation point of contact.
- Escalate risk and major roadblock to Project/Program Managers.
- Engages in other aspects of Supplier Lifecycle Management, as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Management, Administration or Supply Chain, preferred.
- 5 years of experience working in Ariba, specifically in supplier management.
- Strong understanding of Source to Pay and Transactional Procurement processes (with a focus on P2P Supplier Enablement).
- Intermediate / Advanced Microsoft Excel/Google sheets skills (e.g., ability to set up pivot tables, analyze data).
- Customer service oriented and collaborative.
- Comfortable presenting to groups, leading projects, and working on matrixed teams.
- Skilled in managing numerous projects at different phases and adjusting to changing priorities.
- Ability to work under pressure to meet established deadlines.
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail are desirable.
