As the R&D Enablement & Onboarding Manager at our Enterprise SaaS company, you will be instrumental in ensuring that new engineers are quickly and effectively integrated into our R&D team. Your role focuses on creating and managing a comprehensive onboarding and enablement program that accelerates the productivity and engagement of new engineering hires. This position plays a crucial role in fostering a culture of continuous learning and development within the R&D organization.

What You Will Do- Onboarding Program Development: Design and implement an onboarding program for engineers that shortens the time to first code check-in and enhances overall onboarding effectiveness.
- Enablement Strategy: Develop strategies and tools to enable new engineers to quickly become proficient and productive in their roles.
- Continuous Improvement: Regularly assess and refine the onboarding and enablement processes based on feedback and performance metrics.
- Collaboration with R&D Teams: Work closely with R&D teams to understand their needs and tailor the onboarding experience to meet these requirements effectively.
- Training and Development: Create and manage training materials and sessions that support the continuous professional growth of engineers.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze metrics like time to first code check-in and time to code readability review to measure the effectiveness of the onboarding and enablement processes.
- Proven experience in onboarding, training, or a similar role, preferably within an R&D or technology environment.
- Strong understanding of the technical and professional development needs of engineers.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to design and implement effective training and onboarding programs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for fostering a positive learning environment.
