Form of workAbout the Position: Serves as the Supervisor for assigned armed security officers, who are responsible for security of staff, patients, property, material, and equipment at Womack Army Medical Center (WAMC), 4 outlying health clinics, 2 medical homes and support areas.Qualifications: Who May Apply: Only applicants who meet one of the employment authority categories below are eligible to apply for this job. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes experience with working in a Federal or State or municipal or local or private organization that involves the protection of property against such hazards as fire, theft, damage, accident, or trespass. Maintain order, protecting life, writing incident reports and responding to emergency situations and security breaches. Patrolling in order to detect problem situations and/or conditions.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).
