- Assist with answering/handling inbound calls to the HMIC Technical Support Desk:
- Creating Serena tickets and escalating tickets as necessary.
- Provides helpful assistance to end-users.
- Work with the Procurement team to audit all software and hardware while ensuring proper disposal of equipment.
- Provides project support and assistance, including employee moves and new hire setup(s).
- Assists with basic Serena incidents and service requests, including equipment replacement, application installation/removal, and coordinating new employee setup(s).
- Updates application installation documentation to reflect current software updates and procedure changes.
- Provides assistance with imaging hardware and maintaining inventory. Images laptops/desktops, prepares for deployment, conducts testing/cleaning/repair of equipment.
- Currently enrolled in a 2 or 4-year undergraduate degree program from an accredited university majoring in an Information Technology related field required.
- Junior or Senior class level preferred.
- Minimum of a 3.0 GPA within major program preferred.
- Minimum 2.5 GPA cumulative GPA required.
- Prior customer service experience preferred prior internship experience of involvement of a similar capacity helpful.
- Ability to work onsite at our Hastings, Michigan headquarters throughout the Internship program.
- Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to physically take equipment inventory, including reaching/walking/kneeling, etc. in addition to performing cable management audits throughout the facility to mitigate/eliminate tripping hazards.
