It Help Desk Manager

Are you an experienced and dynamic IT professional ready to take the lead at Highway and Heavy Parts? We are seeking a highly motivated IT Team Lead to join our growing team and drive innovation in our technology landscape. As the IT Team Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing a talented group of IT professionals, managing projects, and ensuring the seamless operation of our IT infrastructure.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

• Lead and organize the IT departments weekly meetings
• Plan and direct IT team training
• Improve processes and policies in support of organizational goals
• Assist in the development of the yearly IT budget
• Conduct audits and quality checks to validate that the IT team is meeting KPI goals effectively
• Responsible for resolving all IT Tickets that other IT team members cannot complete
• Delegate tasks and accountabilities related to IT processes
• Coordinate and assign IT action plans for team members
• Keep the department on track to meet department strategic objectives
• Oversee recruiting and upgrading.
• Complete Capacity planning based on turnover, and growth trends
• Provide feedback, support and coaching to the IT team
• Set individual KPI targets with the IT team
• Approve timesheets and time off requests
• Oversee the activities and performance of the IT team
• Oversee the activities and performance of outside developers
• Problem solve and oversee all IT Team problems
• Ensure IT team has the necessary resources to perform properly
• Follow the HHP system and report any problems to management immediately

Education and Experience

• Knowledge of spreadsheet software (Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets) and other software (word processing, presentation graphics, etc)
• Knowledge of pivot tables, advanced graphing, VLOOKUPs, and VBA macros
• 1-3 years of experience of working with databases and E-commerce applications

HHP has two in-person locations with a headquarters in Coleman, MI and second location in Saginaw, MI. Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
