Job SummaryThe Residence Life Office Assistant is a student staff member with the Residence Life department. Office Assistants provide general clerical and office support, answer and direct telephone inquiries, greet visitors, and respond to questions. This position is defined as a non-exempt position under FLSA regulations. Specific Responsibilities
- Answering office telephones, taking messages, and creating tickets to manage response time
- Provide assistance to callers and walk-in visitors regarding housing policies, procedures and associated concerns
- Provide clerical assistance such as copying, collating, typing and filing for departmental and professional staff
- Data entry
- Make deliveries to and from various campus offices
- Inventory and track keys
- Special projects as assigned

- Ability to communicate in a clear and friendly manner
- Prior experience working for Residential Life or knowledge of Residential Life policies and procedures
- Customer service orientation
Education First Year, Sophomore, Junior, or Senior. All Majors Experience No experience required.

Additional Requirements This position pays $7.25 per hour and estimates 25-30 hours per week.
