Hiring for two roles: Marketing Intern and Nutrition Intern.
As a Nutrition Intern, you will assist the Registered Dietitian with nutrition events across campus. Assist in event planning, marketing, and execution. This position is ideal for an undergrad nutrition student in any track. Must have some noon-afternoon availability for events. The Marketing Student Office Worker is responsible for assisting the district marketing manager and coordinator in their advertising and promotional efforts. Main duties include engaging with the University community during meal plan sales and promotional tabling; planning and executing marketing events (theme meals, pop-ups, product sampling and giveaways); contributing to the creation of campus and collateral and social media content; conducting consumer feedback surveys; and completing clerical and administrative duties as assigned. This position will consist of hands-on experience, skill building, cross-functional collaboration, and professional development. It will be based in the marketing office at J&H Dining hall, but its duties will extend across campus.

COMPENSATION: The hourly rate for this position starts at $13, depending on circumstances including an applicant's skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). This is Aramark's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this position as of the time of posting.
Job Responsibilities
Collaborate with campus RD and Marketing team.
Nutrition Responsibilities:

• Assist in the creation of nutrition-related educational materials and promotional graphics
• Event promotion on social media
• Support nutrition event execution
• Help with service at theme meals or other Drexel Dining
• Assist in training staff as needed
• Maintains excellent customer service and positive demeanor towards guests, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.
• Ensures security of company assets
• Follows food safety policies

Marketing Responsibilities:

• Responsible for engageing with the University community during meal plan sales and promotional tabling

Qualifications

• Be able to work quickly and concisely under pressure
• Passionate about nutrition/ health and wellness
• Nutrition and Dietetic or Allied Health student preferred
• Must be currently enrolled at Temple University
• Be knowledgable in Temple Culinary Services dining locations, meal plans, and overall program offerings
• Proven interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
• Have time management and critical thinking skills
• Demonstrates strong organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail
• Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling of up to 25 lbs

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective equipment (PPE).
