Caterpillar's Global Construction and Infrastructure (GCI) division is hiring a Strategy Manager! In this role, you will be responsible for shaping the strategic direction for our sales and technical go to market teams. As a senior individual contributor, your mission will be to support the development of dealer growth initiatives and team development. You’ll be critical in developing meaningful dealer engagement and team events and have frequent exposure to senior leadership within the division.
What You'll Do
Plan and direct projects viewed as critical to department and the enterprise.
Support GCI and dealers in their execution and governance of detailed growth plans.
Develop performance indicators and other measures to support regional teams and dealer management.
Liaise with business partners on dealer initiatives.
Review and assess dealer best practices for integration of growth initiatives.
Develop a deep understanding of our 5 tactics and applicability to industry growth dynamics.
Execute GCI breakthrough initiatives and manage team framework to communicate and deliver results.
Document lessons learned over time.
Other duties as assigned from Caterpillar management from time-to-time.
What You Have (Basic Qualifications):
Progressive roles held in machine marketing, sales or product support functions
Previous project or program management/leadership experience
A strategic thinker with consulting mindset
Skills in data analysis & gathering and decision making & critical thinking
Effective communicator and relationship builder
Top Candidates Will Also Have (Preferred Qualifications):
Project management experience
Familiarity with Power Bi and other metrics, dashboards and supporting management tools
Ability to manage senior leadership stakeholders
Previous experience with change management
Advanced communication skills
Advanced people networking skills
