Job Summary:
The Veradigm Design & Human Experience team ideates, envisions, and crafts meaningful digital experiences for healthcare professionals and their patients across the care continuum. The team's three core capabilities of Research, Strategy, and Design are orchestrated to elevate the electronic health records (EHR) and practice management (PM) experiences within Veradigm's suite of Provider products.
The Sr. Manager of Experience Strategy is a senior leadership role within Veradigm's Design & Human Experience team. This role will lead the team responsible for framing high end digital experiences that are influenced by research insights, digital engagement best practices, and capabilities of emerging technologies.
The Experience Strategist team spans the bridge between research insights and designed experiences. They craft experience brilliance through human-centered Experience Strategy. They are empathetic technologists who are immersed in experimental and emerging technologies. The voice-of-customer is their north star for all their efforts, and they ignite experience design re-thinking for empowered customer engagement.
The ideal candidate will have a talent for seeing the big picture, providing strategic guidance on the best approaches to enhance customer and business user experiences.
The position will require taking a creative approach to scaling the Experience Strategy team by introducing new approaches to elevate the organization's purpose of putting people first with a spirit of continuous discovery and delivering value.
This role is also responsible for the practical matters of ensuring the successful execution of Experience Strategy within the team. This means managing work against milestones, allocating resources, and reviewing and critiquing deliverables. You should be undaunted by rolling up your sleeves and supporting the range of research, strategy, and design efforts across the team. As a people manager, you will work effectively to build, coach, and mentor the team.
What you will contribute:
- Develops and implements user Experience Strategy and design management across wide ranging Veradigm projects and initiatives. Synthesizes requirements, constraints, and multiple points of view to craft effective human-centric product experiences.
- Manages, mentors, and leads a team responsible for the design of user Experience Strategy.
- Collaborates with and advises program management, project teams, engineering, and customer success teams through key phases of the product life cycle to strategically align user experience requirements and tone for current and future products and programs.
- Develops, implements, and continually improves Veradigm user experience quality through hands-on user experience research, strategy, and design.
- As a member of the Design & Human Experience leadership team, develops, implements, and monitors user Experience Strategy and standards.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent Technical / Business experience Required
- 12+ years relevant work experience Preferred
- 4-7 years relevant leadership experience including directing the work of others preferred
