Requirements for a Friendly Home Staffing Coordinator:
- Education: High school diploma.
- Experience and working knowledge of computers.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Responsibilities for a Friendly Home Staffing Coordinator:
- Maintains accurate master time schedule.
- Prepares and posts monthly master staffing schedule.
- Schedules per diem staff to fill openings and call-ins on monthly staffing schedules.
- Responsible for completion of daily staffing sheets.
- Receives and records call-ins.
- Assists with orientation of new nursing staff on nursing department scheduling procedures.
- Edits electronic timekeeping system for nursing department payroll.
- Maintains time and pay records and provides various reports on absence and tardiness as requested by Director of Health Services.
- Responds to questions from nursing staff on scheduling, time off procedures and other nursing policies and procedures.
- Other duties as requested.
- Weekly meeting with Director of Health Services for position control reconciliation.
- Meets with all new hires before orientation to provide and explain schedule.
