Job Title: Staff Technology Program Manager
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Project Manager with expertise in hybrid project management methodologies to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in project management within the IT industry, with a demonstrated ability to successfully integrate both traditional (Waterfall) and agile methodologies to deliver projects efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Hybrid Project Planning and Execution: Develop project plans that incorporate elements of both traditional Waterfall and agile methodologies, ensuring flexibility to adapt to changing requirements while maintaining clear project objectives and timelines.
Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, including clients, internal teams, and external vendors, leveraging hybrid methodologies to facilitate collaboration and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
Risk Management and Adaptability: Identify potential risks and uncertainties early in the project lifecycle, employing hybrid approaches to manage and mitigate risks while remaining adaptable to changing circumstances and priorities.
Iterative Delivery and Continuous Improvement: Implement agile practices such as iterative development and frequent feedback loops to deliver incremental value to stakeholders, while also leveraging traditional project management techniques to ensure adherence to quality standards and overall project goals.
Resource Optimization and Team Empowerment: Effectively plan agile team allocations/ resources and empower resources to make data-driven decisions, leveraging hybrid methodologies to balance the need for structure and predictability with the flexibility to innovate and respond to emerging challenges.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Establish/Follow key performance indicators (KPIs) tailored to the hybrid nature of the project, providing regular updates and transparent reporting on project progress, milestones, and any deviations from planned outcomes.
Change Management and Continuous Learning: Embrace change as an opportunity for growth and improvement, leveraging hybrid methodologies to facilitate ongoing learning and adaptation, both at the project level and within the broader organizational context.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree or PMP certification is a plus.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT project management, with a proven track record of successfully integrating hybrid methodologies to deliver complex projects on time and within budget.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams in a hybrid project environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels and facilitate collaboration in a hybrid project context.
Proficiency in project management software such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, or ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management, with experience in tailoring tools and techniques to support hybrid project management approaches.
Solid understanding of both traditional Waterfall and agile methodologies, with the ability to customize and blend methodologies to suit the needs of individual projects.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to navigate complex project environments and drive continuous improvement through hybrid approaches.
Salary: 100K - 140K + Bonus
