Job Summary:

The Global Dealer Forecasting and Work Tool S&OP Program Manager position is responsible for critical enterprise S&OP processes and various programs involving machines and Work Tools. This includes a team of 3 Dealer Regional Forecasting Specialists and their Global Supervisor, a Work Tool S&OP Process Specialist and providing work direction for any program related resources.

What You Will Do:

  • Ownership of the monthly process development, management, and execution of the One Forecast (monthly statistical Dealer sales forecast at the sales model and Dealer code level), a critical input to the enterprise machine S&OP process and the creation of machine order ranges (at the Dealer code and sales model level). 
    • This includes forecasting at the Dealer Ordering Codes, sales model level.
    • Communication and negotiation with process partners involved in the Dealer S&OP process – specifically the Dealer Sales Forecasting elements.
    • Attend and lead critical monthly S&OP process element meetings related to One Forecast with key enterprise process partners.
    • Ensures that the One Forecast (at the Dealer and sales model level), a critical input to the order range planning process, is as accurate as possible to direct available machines to the right place at the right time to support sales to end customers and achieving target PINS by region and district.
    • One Forecast Digital Product Ownership - including continued innovation, education, training, life cycle management, cost management, KPI management, collecting ongoing business needs and developing the MGPP.
    • Serve as the enterprise expert in the Dealer Sales Forecasting area including providing training, coaching and any other asks for education in this subject matter.  
    • Expected continued professional development in the business forecasting space.
    • Coaching and consulting of Dealers in the continued pursuit of excellence in the forecast accuracy metric.
  • Serve as the main liaison with the MSEP (Machine Sales and Excellence Program) Team members in annual target setting of the program metrics that pertain to Machine and Dealer S&OP process elements.
  • Leadership of the Global Work Tool S&OP Program – including the program oversight and management of more than 10 enterprise work streams which include:  technical development, process development, change management, pilot process implementation, process documentation, KPI development, communication, training, and global deployment of the full solution.    
  • Management of the Global Work Tool S&OP process and resulting digital product, post implementation, including:
    • Execution of the monthly global process
    • Ongoing management of education, KPIs, training, innovation, life cycle, cost, business needs and MGPP of the One Forecast Digital Product.
  • Provide direct daily support to the Director of Sales & Operations Planning and peers – as needed to support other critical enterprise initiatives in the machines and Work Tools areas.
  • Leading other enterprise programs, as needs develop in the machine or Work Tool S&OP environment. 

Education Requirement:

4-year degree in related field

• Maintains productive, relationships with enterprise process partners, Dealers, working team and other including third party service providers.

• Exhibits prior supervisory or manager experience

• Possesses experience in working with independently owned Dealerships in the machine and Work Tool industry
Project Management:
• Plans, estimates, staffs, organizes and monitors significant projects.
• Identifies risks and vulnerabilities; creates contingency plans.
• Conducts regular and ad-hoc project reviews with project team, sponsors, and clients.
• Maintains open communication among project participants and interested parties.
• Communicates reporting requirements; creates monitoring and control mechanisms.

• Demonstrates large scale program management and process development / deployment experience

•  Possesses digital product management experience

The location for this position is Peoria, IL

Domestic relocation assistance is available for this position.

This position may require up to 25% travel.
