Staff Development Coordinator - Sub-Acute Care

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive Staff Development programs aligned with organizational goals.
- Assess training needs through collaboration with department heads and regular evaluations.
- Plan, coordinate, and facilitate training sessions, workshops, and educational programs.
- Create engaging training materials, presentations, and resources for diverse learning styles.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to incorporate into training initiatives.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, making continuous improvements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify skills gaps and develop targeted training solutions.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the organization
Qualifications
- Licensed Nurse (LVN) with 1 year experience providing direct patient care in a long term care facility in addition to 1 year experience planning implementing and evaluating educational programs
- Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.
- Knowledge of Title XXII OBRA regulations and JCAHO standards for long term care.
- Supervision of monthly re-capping of physician orders.
- Communicate clearly, concisely and accurately verbally and in writing.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with various publics.
- Communicate with and interact with licensed and unlicensed staff.
- Understand logical order when tracking various logs for a multiple of departments.
Pay Range
$33.82 - $42.24 /hour
