SalaryResponsibilities:
- Oversee project accounting, WIP (Work in Progress) schedules, and accrual processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Manage day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable/receivable, cash management, and financial reconciliations.
- Collaborate with the corporate finance and accounting team to consolidate financials from acquired entities.
- Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for new processes, fostering efficiency and adaptability.
- Support in implementing best practices for accrual accounting and transitioning from cash to accrual methodologies.
- Comprehensive understanding of construction industry practices, particularly project accounting and WIP processes.
- Proficiency in NetSuite or similar ERP systems
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, demonstrating flexibility and initiative.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA certification preferred.
- 4 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting roles, including staff accounting responsibilities.

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure.
