YES - STAFF ACCOUNTANT
Primary Purpose:
Responsible for month-end close procedures for Operational Accounting, including the preparation of journal entries, reconciliations and analysis of financial results.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Education:
Must have a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Accounting or a related discipline.

YES - STAFF ACCOUNTANT
Primary Purpose:
Responsible for month-end close procedures for Operational Accounting, including the preparation of journal entries, reconciliations and analysis of financial results.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and rollforwards
- Facilitate and complete monthly close procedures for operational accounting
- Evaluate transactions and record to the GL as necessary to ensure the financials are accurate and complete
- Create and process month end journal entries for revenue concession amortization, bad debt, sales and lease commissions
- Maintain and update detailed schedules for ancillary revenue items
- Occasional research of open operational accounting related issues and determine correct solution
- Assist with year-end and interim audit requests
- Ad hoc projects as assigned
Education:
Must have a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Accounting or a related discipline.
Experience/Specific Knowledge
- Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience
- Fundamental understanding of accounting and financial principles
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Ability to work independently
- Dependable, flexible, organized, multitasking individual with a great work ethic
- MRI and Nexus experience a plus
