JOB DESCRIPTION: STAFF ACCOUNTANT II

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform month-end closing duties while consistently looking for areas of improvement.
• Complete general ledger analysis, budget analysis, and data audits, as required.
• Prepare pricing proposals for contract renewals, special projects, & mid-contrac changes.
• Enter accurate budget and building vacancy updates into Cora, which is Pioneer’s proprietary enterprise platform.
• Assist with contracts recordkeeping.
• Interface with clients, vendors, and other relevant third parties.

Essential Skills

• Mac OS experience.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel proficiency.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize (and re-prioritize) projects to meet deadlines.
• Positive attitude.
• Strong written and oral communication.
• Proactive.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of accounting experience.
• B.S. Accounting preferred; not required.
• Month-end closing experience.
• Property management and/or contracts administration experience a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
