Job Description:
- Review financial statements for accuracy and legal compliance
- Assist in diligence work on acquisition targets
- Assist in vetting de-novo locations
- Prepare and file tax returns
- Enter accounting related information into business logs
- Inspect account books for efficiency and accuracy
- Organize and update financial records
- Recommend ways to reduce costs and enhance revenue
- Perform monthly bank settlements
- Prepare documentation for external auditors
Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred (or equivalent experience) and accountant certification
- Experience in healthcare, specifically with insurance reimbursement models preferred
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
- Ability and willingness to work in a collaborative team environment
- Strong mathematical, accounting, and analytical skills, with demonstrated critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multi-task, and work in an organized, detailed manner
- Process-oriented with strong time management skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office skills and experience with accounting software (MS experience is a plus)
