Here's what you'd do:

• Analyzes, audits, reconciles, and resolves complex payroll processing and employee payroll issues to ensure smooth payroll processing.
• Ensures payroll reporting and payments comply with company policy, generally accepted accounting principles, and federal, state, and IRS regulations.
• Prepares monthly journal entries for payroll entries processed.
• Researches and interprets wage/hour issues for payroll processing.
• Respond to auditing and regulatory inquiries.
• May work with system programmers to achieve solutions or administer company payroll system with outside service providers.
• Position will include supervision of staff.

Pay: $30/hr.

Hours: 40 hours/week (1st Shift).

Length: Temp (11 Months).

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum of 6 years experience in payroll processing.

• Master's Degree in Business or Accounting or Finance.
• Experience with SAP and MS Office (Excel and Access).
• Experience in managing projects and designating tasks/responsibilities to a team.
• Must be an independent thinker who can self-start on daily tasks without constant direction.
• Advanced data entry position.
• Ability to multi-task, including during periods of interruption.

Additional Information:

• Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
• Must be able to work at least one Saturday per month and have availability for overtime hours due to a heavy workload until the role is fully staffed.
