This Senior Paralegal currently sits in Legal Regulatory, Privacy and Compliance and will work with a team of lawyers, other paralegals, compliance professionals and administrators. The Senior Paralegal will track and implement new law and maintain ongoing compliance programs, including anti-bribery, across Chick-fil-A, Inc. Support Center departments and Chick-fil-A subsidiaries. The ability to work on a team, thrive in a dynamic, changing regulatory environment and global business as well as demonstrate strong legal, knowledge management, problem-solving and project management skills are keys to success in this role.
This role is based in Atlanta, Georgia. If a candidate meets our relocation policy guidelines, Chick-fil-A does offer relocation.

- Track international, federal, state and local legislation, regulations and laws of interest to CFA business; interface and assist in selection of legislative tracking and compliance tools with outside vendors.
- Research and analyze new laws and identify regulatory trends that impact food service, food manufacturing, food distribution, CFA Inc. and subsidiaries in all jurisdictions in which Chick-fil-A operates.
- Prepare, deliver and communicate action-oriented summaries and checklists to multiple Support Center departments and subsidiaries to implement and comply with new laws, including those related to anti-bribery, accessibility, food safety, workplace safety, supply chain, transportation and environmental safety; allocate research topics to outside counsel; manage scope of research and deadlines.
- Drive implementation of new laws and compliance processes within Chick-fil-A, including leading meetings, documenting progress and follow-up on questions, and utilizing project management skills.
- Regularly communicate with external industry trade associations to gain updates and insights on new laws of importance to CFA; summarize learnings and communicate to Legal and cross-departmental stakeholders.
- Develop, and maintain new business programs, tools and processes impacting enterprise wide cross-functional departments in support of the Legal Regulatory, Privacy and Compliance practice area, including regulatory databased for the CFA Anti-bribery Compliance Program and CFA Supply.
- Maintain and enhance an integrated due diligence process, including compliance checks and process-flow for vendors, in partnership with Legal, Financial Services, International and other departments within the business; prepare ongoing reports on the effectiveness of the anti-bribery program; assist staff with questions and issues on policy implementation; assist with staff anti-bribery training; interface with outside counsel on questions and policy and procedure enhancements.
- Interface with Legal Operations on technology, tracking and data analysis needs of the CFA Regulatory, Privacy and Compliance team.
