Senior Mechanical Engineer
Our client is looking for a self-motivated, and innovative individual for a Senior Mechanical Engineer position that can demonstrate the successful delivery of detailed mechanical design packages on medium to large scale capital projects.
Responsibilities:

• Lead projects and design efforts from a mechanical/HVAC perspective from concept design

• Develop overall Conceptual and Basis of Design level design approaches and documentation

• Design central utility plant systems and overall equipment layouts

• Develop Mechanical/Utility equipment and construction specifications

• Perform temperature, humidity control, and utility load calculations

• Develop various airflow and piping diagrams

• Developing building management system (BMS) control philosophy and Sequence of Operations

• Perform construction assistance in the form of submittal reviews, RFI responses, and field visits to verify construction of mechanical scope

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering

• 15 years of experience, preferably in a design firm setting

• PE registration is required

• Understanding of/experience using AutoCAD and Revit

• Understanding of Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) is preferred

• LEED Accredited Professional is preferred

• Traveling as required to client sites
