Mechanical Engineer

Urban Engineers, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) Department.  This position will be responsible for the mechanical system design of commercial, institutional, and residential building projects.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the preparation of construction drawings and specifications.
• Design full mechanical systems including chilled water, DX, VAV, VRF and hot water systems.
• Prepare load calculations for different stages of design.
• Prepare drawings detailing the system designed.
• Communicate with clients to establish their needs and discuss design issues with them.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Experience Level Requirements
  • 3 - 9 years of HVAC design experience
  • EIT is preferred, but not required.
• Ability to work independently.
• AutoCAD and Revit experience is required.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Must live within or be relocating to within a reasonable commute of our Cherry Hill, NJ Office.

Pay Rate:  $85,000 - $125,000 / year
