Your role at Baxter
This position is for the Sr. Product Quality Manager for the Baxter Nutrition Medical Device and Patient Monitoring product platforms. This position will lead a team of quality engineers supporting both New Product Development and sustaining engineering for a range of medical devices including electromechanical, software and disposables.
What you will do
- Selects, develops, and retains the team. Provides constructive feedback, mentor, and recognition. Successfully motivates the team for outstanding performance.
- Provides leadership to the team members by providing mentorship related to problem resolution, process clarification, referrals to appropriate experts, and interpretation of Quality Management System procedures.
- Ensures resources are adequately balanced & managed to ensure accurate completion of projects
- Maintains current knowledge of relevant Quality System Regulations and other regulatory requirements related to product development, design, safety, etc. to ensure compliance in all activities.
- Participates in quality assessments of internal operations and suppliers to analyze compliance and assess risk.
- Identifies and leads continuous improvement projects to achieve quality, reliability, and cost improvements.
What will you bring
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- 10+ years of experience in Quality and/or Engineering in the Medical Device industry
- 5+ years of management experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge in the areas of medical device design controls, change control, CAPA, and risk management.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills utilizing DMAIC tools, Six Sigma Engineering, ASQ or other certifications desirable.
- Ability to communicate effectively using a wide variety of skills and vehicles and to various audiences including senior management.
- Demonstrated leadership and communication skills accomplishing success with large teams
- Proven track record of successful regulatory inspection involvement required

At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $136,000 to $187,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and/or long-term incentive .
