Manufacturing Quality Inspector -2Nd Shift

Full Time Position - 0 cost Health Insurance Premium - Company Paid

2nd Shift Hours: 2pm - 10pm (Monday through Friday)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for first piece article checks, counting parts, identifying parts and checking dimensions after heat treat and testing. Determine part status – pass, fail, re-work. Perform inspection at various stages of the manufacturing process to ensure quality parts/products

· Assist with set-up for quality parts for all machine shop departments

· Perform in-process inspection to ensure correct dimensions

· Perform first piece inspection

· Perform heat treat inspection against print

· Perform final inspection of parts

· Resolve print discrepancies with engineering

· Work with appropriate outside vendors (checking hardness, application of black oxide, etc.)

· Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor

· Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures

Physical Requirements:

· Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.

· Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards

· Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs

· Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
