Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Production and Quality Assurance Manager located in Greater Chicago Area at Big Shoulders Coffee. The Production and Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for managing the production process, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety are maintained, overseeing the packaging process, and managing inventory. The ideal candidate has an excellent attention to detail, experience in coffee Production And management, and is able to analyze and optimize processes to improve efficiency And Quality.

Qualifications

Experience with production planning, scheduling, and inventory management in food and/or beverage

Experience in Quality Assurance management or related field

Knowledge of safe food manufacturing industry standards and regulations

Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional teams

Project management and leadership skills

Inventory management

Hands on shipping and receiving experience

Relevant skills and qualifications that would also be beneficial include:

Experience in HACCP, GMP, and/or PCQI certification

Practical experience in development/application of risk based preventative controls

Advanced computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, And Quality management software

Spanish speaking is helpful
