We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, and creative leader with a history of strategic and tactical execution. This person will lead a team of talented professionals that will drive the cybersecurity of Identity and Access Management of T-Mobile and have responsibility for guiding other leaders. We operate in a very fast-paced agile environment with quick decisions. We encourage innovation and expect you to take ownership and initiative. This role provides a unique opportunity to drive Technology direction for T-Mobile USA.
The Sr Manager leads specific aspects of the Identity and Access Management practice at T-Mobile. This team also assists application owners to understand and implement the cybersecurity aspects of their applications and advises on best security practices for new company projects and initiatives.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Solid understanding of cybersecurity policies and regulatory controls threats, vulnerabilities, and overall risk profile of the enterprise (per team function).
  • Experience with incident handling for Security breaches.
  • Mentor analysts, senior analysts, engineers, and architects and Cybersecurity individual contributors to promote successful performance and career growth in alignment with department and enterprise objectives
  • Proven ability to provide cybersecurity consultation on designs and/or implementation of cybersecurity controls ensuring adherence to T-Mobile security standards and/or best practices.
  • Plan and implement appropriate protective measures to include policy, process, and overall cybersecurity awareness.
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills vital to engage with diverse multi-functional groups and present effectively to small and large groups.
  • Lead security projects driven by groups both internal and external to Digital Security.
  • Develop strategy, roadmap, and requirements for enterprise information protection to align with technology, product, and overall business strategy.
  • Maintain visibility outside of Digital Security, interface and connect with non-Digital Security groups during cybersecurity events to coordinate multi-functional efforts
  • Seeks out strategic relationships that will increase team output, process accuracy, decrease time to market, or otherwise improve the customer experience on a consistent basis.
  • Establishes and contributes to mutually beneficial shared goals with other teams. Adapts approach to accomplish team goals.

  • Manage technical relationships with assigned vendors, including driving features and function requests for inclusion in future product releases. Demonstrates trust in others by eliminating unnecessary policies and checkpoints.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent work experience (Required)

Work Experience:

  • 7+ years experience implementing large and complex strategies
  • 2+ years experience supporting cybersecurity get well plans
  • 3+ years management leadership experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • In-depth knowledge of security standard processes in large-scale environments
  • Significant knowledge of current technological trends and developments in the area of cybersecurity
  • Knowledge of federal & compliance regulations e.g. SOX, PCI & CPNI
  • 5 years Technical Project Management (Preferred)
  • Familiarity with systems of records such as CyberArk, Azure AD ,SailPoint . General understanding of SDLC .
  • Medium to advance knowledge of Scripting tools (Python/Perl/Shell/HTML/PHP). (Preferred)

Licenses and Certifications:

  • CISSP and/or CCSK and/or CCSP and/or CISA/CISM certification a plus (Preferred)

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States

Washington Pay Range : $186,500.00 - $252,300.00

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the state listed. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay may be above or below this range. At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance, while Retail and Business Sales roles are eligible for monthly or quarterly sales incentives.
