PMT is a global leader in providing customers with high-performance specialty materials, including fluorine products; specialty films and additives; advanced fibers and composites; intermediates; specialty chemicals; electronic materials and chemicals; and technologies and materials for petroleum refining. An excellent career opportunity is currently available for a Human Resources Senior Manager in the Advance Materials (ADM) business supporting business located in Geismar LA. In this exciting opportunity in a high growth environment, you will utilize your extensive experience in Human Resources management to significantly impact and support the ADM leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate for this position will provide a broad range of human resources services in support of business objectives and human resources initiatives.
The Human Resources Senior Manager is accountable for partnering with business and functional leaders as well as with the HR organizations to:

  • Establish HR Strategies to meet business objectives.
  • Drive a culture of performance, results and positive employee relations.
  • Drive and improve HR processes across all client groups.
  • Coach leaders on talent management, and performance differentiation.
  • Drive HR procedures and policies. When necessary, deploy specific PMT policies and practices designed to ensure compliance with the business contract.
  • Conduct organization assessments respond to employee feedback and develop action plans along with client leaders to drive employee engagement.
  • Partner with the Staffing COE Leader to execute staffing processes at site and develop staffing strategies to ensure a robust pipeline of quality candidates.
  • Partner with the PMT Talent Management COE Leader to deliver the MRR process and other talent management processes, organizational assessment and learning strategies, and leadership development.
  • Partner with the PMT Compensation and Benefits leader to execute competitive compensation, benefits, and reward and recognition programs.
  • Partner with PMT Communications to direct the planning and maintenance of communications.
  • Help build a strong global HR team that consistently exceeds organizational objectives. Drive organizational effectiveness.
U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

YOU MUST HAVE:
  • Bachelor's degree required with emphasis in Business, Human Resources, Employment Relations or Organizational Development.
  • 7+ years progressive professional Human Resources experience
  • 3+ years' experience in Human Resources leadership/management roles within a global organization
  • Demonstrated ability to drive change and build a performance culture.
  • Demonstrated ability to positively influence others, particularly leadership development and coaching
  • Ability to analyzed performance and reliability trends of product portfolios to drive improvements in project execution and on-time delivery
  • Created competency assessment for organization to validate delivered skills gap analysis and remediation plan
  • Strategic skills to develop and continuously identify and drive base cost improvements
  • Strong bias for action, a keen sense of urgency and the ability to drive results in a highly matrixed organization
  • Aptitude to analyze of historical payroll trends to assist in establishing new compensation models
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations
