Position Overview:
Supports initiatives for HR Operations across the IPM Market. Provides a broad range of HR support which includes varied, complex, and specialized assignments. Works on key department projects and may handle employee relations investigations as needed. Supports IPM HR Operations and the market leaders in the areas of performance management, systems administration, employee engagement, new employee orientation, reporting, compensation administration, HR training, and responding to questions. Must be resourceful and flexible to meet the ever-changing needs of leadership. Demonstrates service excellence and always conveys professionalism with strong motivation to achieve optimum results.
Professional Knowledge: Strong oral and written communication skills; solid HR generalist skills, including experience in recruitment, compensation, employee relations, and employment law. Strong prioritization, problem solving, organizational skills, critical thinking, and leadership skills. Must possess thorough knowledge of the HR standards and guidelines for (not an all-inclusive list) Joint Commission, Wage & Hour, ADA, FMLA, Employment Laws, Civil Rights, and HR policies and procedures and handbook.
Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree is required. SPHR or PHR certification highly preferred.
Interpersonal Skills: Interpersonal skills to foster a collaborative environment. Promotes mutual respect and professionalism in working relationships. Able to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing. Strong customer relations/customer complaint resolution skills required. Must maintain high level of confidentiality.
Equipment, Applications and Tools Knowledge: Computer proficiency with MS Office Excel, Word, PowerPoint to include email, spreadsheets, database entry, and use of various of office equipment- PC, copier, printer, scanner. HRIS experience required (preferably Lawson); Performance Management and Applicant Tracking systems experience desired.
Travel Requirements: Minimal. May attend meetings offsite or conferences periodically. Could be asked to travel to facilities on an infrequent basis.
