The Senior Director of Marketing will lead a dynamic team in planning, executing, and optimizing our marketing strategies. This role requires a strategic thinker with a keen eye for market trends, a creative mind for innovative campaigns, and the leadership skills to drive performance across various marketing channels. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing comprehensive marketing programs, enhancing brand visibility, and contributing to the company's results. This position will collaborate with the Vice President of Marketing to set strategic initiatives, ensuring their successful execution.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Team Management

  • Lead and mentor the marketing team, fostering a collaborative environment encouraging innovation and excellence.
  • Monitor, review, and report on all marketing activity, projects, and results.
  • Help establish and manage the marketing budget. Deliver marketing activity within the agreed budget. Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and pricing.
  • Oversee U.S. based department staff and prepare annual performance evaluations. Recruit staff as approved by VPM.

2. Brand Management

  • Oversee the development and management of the brand strategy, ensuring consistent messaging across all channels and touchpoints.
  • Manage our brand by promoting uniformity and consistency of brand. Provide design and direction for collateral, web, product packaging, and other visual communications.

3. Digital Marketing

  • Direct the planning and execution of digital marketing initiatives, including SEO/SEM, email marketing, social media, and display advertising campaigns. Utilize analytics to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop, launch, expand, and maintain social media initiatives for the company.
  • Manage and enhance the organization’s digital web presence, including overseeing compelling content creation, implementing SEO strategies, and leveraging analytics to drive improvements and conversion rates.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure our online presence accurately reflects our brand’s values and meets our target audience’s needs, strengthening our market position and digital footprint.

4. Content Marketing

  • Guide the content marketing strategy, overseeing, creating, and distributing valuable, relevant, and consistent content to attract and engage a clearly defined audience.
  • Oversee the development of print and video media for user and employee training and company/solution promotion.
  • Manage the development of corporate and product presentations respecting our brand and corporate communication message. Update as market, product information, and performance changes.
  • SharePoint – collaborate with the IT group to administer the SharePoint site. Manage content as a “one-stop” shop for employees to gather. Train functional leaders on SharePoint for optimal corporate use.

5. Demand Generation

  • Constantly explore, recommend, use, and optimize communication methods, vehicles, and technologies to engage with various audiences, particularly as part of fully integrated demand generation campaigns.
  • Strategize with VPM and Sales Leaders to execute target campaigns aligning with business goals and delivering against established Marketing KPIs.

6. Product Marketing

  • Collaborate with product development and sales teams to launch new products or services, including positioning and go-to market strategies.
  • Work closely with the Product Team to launch new products and oversee collateral development, including content that articulates the value of our products and services.
  • Provide detailed information, training, and product marketing collateral to account executives and other departments.

7.Event Marketing

  • Lead the organization and execution of corporate events, trade shows, and promotional events to enhance brand presence and generate leads.
  • Oversee trade show / event calendar and ensure events fit our markets and products to drive sales, promote our brand, and maintain relationships with existing accounts. Track lead generation and surveys from events. Suggest and approve event participation.

8. Partnership and Relationship Building

  • Establish productive relationships with partners, vendors, and other key stakeholders to amplify marketing efforts.

9. Performance Analysis

  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of Marketing campaigns and strategies, leveraging data to drive decisions and strategy adjustments.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration and/or some other relevant field, required. Master’s degree, preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in marketing with 5+ years of experience in a leadership role.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong understanding of current marketing strategies and the ability to lead integrated marketing campaigns from concept to execution.
  • Proficiency in design tools, marketing automation software, and CRM platforms, with a keen understanding of leveraging these tools to enhance demand generation efforts.
  • Proven track record in developing and executing successful marketing strategies.
  • Experience creating and managing visual content for marketing campaigns.
  • Excellent analytical skills and a data-driven mindset.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and collaboration abilities.
  • Creative thinker with a customer-centric approach.

Additional Comments:

  • This position is based in Malvern, PA with a hybrid schedule of 2-3 days in the office.
  • Approximately 25% of travel, both local and/or overnight for customer meetings, company meetings, events, conferences, trade shows, industry events, etc.
