SalaryWe are looking to hire a qualified Assistant Day Care Director to help manage our day-to-day operations and establish and sustain a positive learning environment for children. You will oversee the coordination of education programs that comply with local and federal regulations, ensure that facilities are maintained, manage and support a complement of the daycare staff.
Requirements:
- Associate’s in a related field.
- Early childhood education experience preferred required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
- Friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Maintain a professional appearance, attitude, and work ethic at all times.
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
- Health Exam (including TB shot)
- Mandated Reporting, State Police, Child Abuse and FBI clearances.
- CPR certified or willing to obtain.
Responsibilities:
- Complete ongoing training and courses to remain up to date on daycare standards and procedures.
- Manage and support teaching staff and promote professional development.
- Ensure that the center is safe for children and comply with laws and regulations
- Ensure a safe, happy and stimulating environment for children.
- Assist with all record-keeping responsibilities.
- Understand and assist staff members with developmentally appropriate practice in Early Childhood Education.
- Assist teachers with managing behavior situations.
- Conducts tours and provide interested families with information about the center.
- Keep the Director informed of all information.
- Assists and accepts responsibility in other daily center duties that might be temporary in the event of a situation.
- Assist and participate in staff meetings, center events, and parent/customer meetings as requested.
- Track and keep inventory of supplies, and other duties assigned.

- Full and Part-time!!!

- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
