The Senior Contract Pricing Analyst reviews and ensures accuracy within the setup and implementation of customer accounts, attached contracts, and affiliated rebates across a customer base worth approximately $5.8 billion annual sales.
The Sr Contract Pricing Analyst is remote virtual which means the work can be completed from anywhere in the United States except Hawaii or United States Territories.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages the contract portfolio with rules and attachment of all rostered of our two largest GPO customers to appropriate National Contracts using a rules-based process. Additions, deletions, and changes to the rules are also kept and communicated within the unit.
Functions as Subject Matter Expert for team of Financial Analysts, answering day-to-day questions, auditing work product, resolving issues, and assisting with training/onboarding as assigned.
Actively monitors the add/change/delete environment of key data points or roster information and confirm changes with the field.
Manages 3rd party GPO roster information into CASIS defining the hierarchies, class of trade, and contract tiers. Monitors and adjusts the roster when the third-party partner changes the roster or use of the roster fields.
Uploads rosters and performs audits to vendor contract listings as necessary.
Maintains GPO neutrality and ensures protocol and firewalls are in place to ensure the safeguarding of contractual data.
Audits and tracks all GPO side letter agreements including program compliance and recovery of monies due USF.
Handles dispute resolution with Vendors and rebates, collaborating with Shared Services on any credits or bill backs.
Acts as Customer advocate to ensure timely and appropriate set up with USF Credit and Shared Services.
Provides direction to Shared Services new account set-up team to ensure appropriate contract terms are applied to new customers (including margins, rebates, charges, etc.)
Communicates with internal and external clients to help facilitate the handling of any concerns or issues that arise. 2nd level problem resolution.
Provides pricing and contract management support to the Local Sales team, National Sales team, CASIS team and USF Division personnel for assigned Local, Regional and National Account concepts.
Performs troubleshooting of price calculations and answering pricing inquiries that require an in-depth knowledge of pricing methodologies and procedures via knowledge of various USF systems (such as PRIME & Prism) and identifies and resolves with the proper root cause identification within 24 hours.
Handles National sales report administration and maintains master data tables for RevMan Contract Negotiations representing $15.6 billion of US. Foods volume.
Assists in the audit process of margins/rebates for all tiered national sales concepts.
Produces National sales report (audit + report) with manual adjustments/corrections to fields that affect national sales.
Handles National sales job aid maintenance, distribution, and adherence.
Partners with Manager or Sr. Manager in all concept/vendor projects.
Assists with quarterly allowance & charge and fuel surcharge management.
Performs Setup Power App troubleshooting, training, troubleshooting, SME, and documenting best practices and incorporation into the job aid.
Handles new business incentive administration, and direct-parent incentive administration.
Completes management of setup or change projects such as margin management changes, contract update or swaps, new contracts, etc. by dividing work into the team, while managing priority/impact and deadlines.
Handles quarterly bank statement administration.
Utilizes Snowflake/SQL and/or any new BI tool provided by USF for routine data pulls, learning the tool(s) if/as needed
Utilizes Tandem Power App for Prime contract attachments and/or AC codes
Assists with the production of master tables and other quarterly compliance spreadsheet setups
Other duties as assigned by manager
RELATIONSHIPS
Internal : Daily interaction with team of Financial Analysts, overseeing and auditing their work. Daily interaction with Corporate SLT and Area VP’s, Directors, and associates. Close interaction with 60+ division sales personnel from Area VP to associate level.
External : Collaborates closely with outside vendors and customers and their associated agencies.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Remote : This role is fully remote, and the associate is expected to perform assigned responsibilities from a home-based environment.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
4 years of contract and/or customer service experience required
Demonstrated strong written and oral communication skills
Ability to communicate with all levels of an organization, customers, etc.
Ability to organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
Work experience collaborating with others on a medium to large team
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (esp. Excel and PowerPoint) required, with MS Access proficiency preferred
Work experience examining & implementing contracts preferred
EDUCATION
- High school graduate or GED equivalent required

Bachelor degree in Business or related field preferred
Experience with Snowflake, SQL, Tandem Power app preferred
