ECHO is hiring a Pricing Strategy Analyst! The Pricing Strategy Analyst will be responsible for creating, analyzing and evaluating pricing strategies and structures to ensure profitability and competitiveness.
This is a hybrid position that will offer the flexibility of working from home and on-site at our Lake Zurich facility.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Develop pricing proposals for all ECHO outdoor power equipment units and accessories based on market data, cost, competitive analysis, profitability, revenue and volume targets, and cross-functional input from product management, sales, marketing, operations, finance, and senior management.
- Support the timely and accurate execution and monitoring of price adjustments.
- Respond to complex pricing inquiries and support the resolution of price discrepancies
- Partner with the Product Management team to create profitable pricing strategies, including driving market research on price elasticity for both new and existing products.
- Analyze and communicate sales and margin impact of retail pricing and/or cost changes.
- Respond to complex pricing inquiries and support the resolution of price discrepancies.
- Review market trends for pricing opportunities to optimize revenue and margin while meeting company goals for unit sales volume.
- Collect, organize, maintain, and analyze the competitive landscape for all outdoor power equipment product categories.
- Proactively gather market data for pricing new products.
- Analyze price relationships between products and monitor cost and raw material fluctuations.
- Communicate key profitability metrics monthly.
- Future profitability modeling using company software.
- Facilitate quarterly pricing steering committee meetings.
- Work cross-functionally with IT and other groups to configure and manage profitability reporting tools.
Job Experience/Skills:
- Experience working with large data sets from multiple sources including Tableau and Power-Link
- Strong Excel skills and ability to create and manipulate data to solve complex problems
- Strong problem-solving ability that requires critical thinking and data support
- Analytical skills and attention to detail coupled with the ability to effectively articulate insights and recommend actions
- Ability to work cross-functionally and effectively influence and partner. Must relate well to all kinds of people, listen, and build constructive relationships, use diplomacy and tact. Shows creativity and innovation in presenting ideas
- Ability to handle multiple projects at the same time
- Ability to drive projects and activities to successful conclusion, operating with a high sense of urgency
- Demonstrated ability to operate independently with broad general guidance against a framework of defined business objectives
- Strong intellect, drive, and communication skills
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Supply Chain, or relative experience.
