Form of workSpringfield Public Schools seeks outstanding candidates for activity leaders/club advisors and assistant coaches for the following Spring sports/activities at Springfield High School:
- Baseball
- Softball
- Track & Field
- Golf
- Tennis
- Spring Musical
Successful candidates will possess the following qualifications:
- Coaching experience at the High School level in the sport/activity for which your are applying;
- Knowledge of and experience in the sport/activity for which you are applying;
- Ability and experience working with High School students;
- Ability and experience working with parents, fellow coaches and school district staff;
- Effective and positive communication skills;
- Ability to work within school district guidelines and budget;
- Valid First Aid card;
- Availability for daily practices and matches;
- Fundraising knowledge and/or capabilities;
- Understanding of OSAA rules and regulations;
- Good organizational skills;
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check;
- Ability and commitment to practice cultural competency and demonstrate respect for diversity.
Salary:
Stipend will be based on the type of sport/activity and your previous paid assistant coaching/activity leading experience in the sport/activity for which you are applying.
