SUMMARY
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work directly with the Director of Construction, Regional Managers and Site Superintendents to help achieve project goals
- Create, organize and maintain databases as needed
- Interface with construction team regarding temporary labor requirements and be the Agencies Point of Contact
- Manage temporary labor databases, schedules, purchase orders, timesheets and invoices
- Manage per diem program and coordinate with employees, HR , and management as needed
- Assist with project mobilization priorities including rentals, tools and basic amenity coordination
- Coordinate with suppliers, vendors and procurement to support construction teams
- Assist with vehicle program administration
- Interface regularly with project management and accounting/finance team
- Assist with construction meeting creation and document meeting minutes
- Assist with basic IT issues for the construction team as needed, act as liaison between IT team and field personnel
- Interface with safety and quality team as needed
- Completing any tasks assigned by the Director of Construction in an efficient and timely manner
- Regular attendance, in accordance with company's attendance policy and supervisory assignment, is an essential job duty requirement for this position
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Associates or Bachelors (preferred) Degree
- General interest/enthusiasm to participate in solar industry
- Highly autonomous/self-directed, highly organized, detail-oriented and excellent collaborator/communicator with a passion for ensuring projects proceed efficiently and effectively
- 2+ years of experience in a solar, project or construction administrative/coordinator/support role
- Proficiency with the Microsoft suite of applications including Project and Sharepoint.
- Strong experience using Procore construction management software
- Familiar with standard construction concepts, practices, and procedures (solar preferred)
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and be proactive in a high-production environment
- Ability to follow directions and take initiative when required
