PART TIME SOCIAL MEDIA SPECIALIST NEEDED !!!

Position Summary
The primary function of the Social Media Specialist is to communicate with multiple brands effectively, creatively, and strategically through Company’s Social Media accounts to increase the audience and awareness of Lunada Bay and correlated company products. Duties include creating and scheduling Social Media content, replying to and tracking comments and activity from audiences, expanding the Lunada Bay brand's audience, and tracking new trends and tactics in the Social Media space. All efforts will be in coordination with the marketing team and CEO to increase awareness on Social Media and ultimately drive sales of Lunada Bay 3 brand products. The candidate must have 3 years of hands-on experience in a Social Media environment. Fashion Industry and swimwear experience are preferred.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Develop a Social Media strategy that supports the company’s initiatives and focus.
- Be the authority in Social Media trends and tactics by demonstrating strong knowledge of target channels including Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter, Amazon (as well as, not limited to, target channels including TikTok, Reddit, and Pinterest).
- Create a strong daily process of calendar management/scheduling, content creation, content posting, and monitoring across Social Media channels.
- Work within budgets and timelines to achieve specific goals set-forth, and create social content and campaigns designed around company initiatives including product releases, trade shows, live events, advertising campaigns, sweepstakes, and more.
- Communicate the brands through rich content and storytelling across various Social Media channels.
- Recommend and develop strategies and tactics to increase targeted audiences across.
- Monitor trends in the Social Media space for new tactics in existing channels (IG, YT, FB, T), and for opportunities in new spaces (Tik Tok, Reddit, Pinterest, and beyond)
- Work with marketing managers to plan live events on Social Media channels and manage execution (including select on-site events)
- Responsible for continually making suggestions for all brands, contributions, plans, and solutions and able to communicate effectively to the Team.
- Responsible for protecting the brands while actively promoting all brands to targeted audiences across Social Media channels.
- Maintain a library of hashtags on Social Media
- Develop processes to track, measure, and monitor Social Media coverage across channels.
- Responsible for obtaining, and reporting to management, any relevant information concerning market trends and developments.
- Constantly implement creative, consistent vehicles that fully support the company's prime objectives regarding professional users, products, and focus.
- Other duties are assigned as needed.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related discipline required.
- Minimum of 3 years experience and a demonstrated track record of accomplishments
- Minimum 3 years of Apparel Social Media experience.
- Swimwear Social Media experience preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others.
- Ability to think ahead and plan over a 1–2-year time span
- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
- Prior marketing development and product launch and deployment
- Problem analysis and problem resolution at both a strategic and functional level
- Technical skills in strategic planning and marketing, business and market development, market research and planning, and promotions/advertising
- Must work effectively with Senior-level executives and staff; must also be able to work independently.
- Must have strong interpersonal skills and good judgment and be capable of communicating with a diverse range of individuals.
- Excellent computer skills including all MS Office applications. (Word, excel, outlook, PowerPoint) required.
- Must have strong customer support orientation (for internal/external customers), demonstrated professional demeanor, and the ability to maintain confidential information.
Pay rate range, $25-$35 per hour.
Part time, 3 days a week in house position
