Offline Raleigh-Durham is looking for an exceptional content creator to start in Feb '24 that will join our amazing RDU Social Media Marketer, Dex and our marketing team of Social Media Marketers in Charlotte, Tampa, and Nashville.
Our Social Media Marketer role is a game-changer for someone wanting a full-time career in content creation. Our goal is to meet people online, stop the scroll, and get them out in the real world, so our Social Media Marketer spends most of their time shooting, editing, and posting exceptional content that excites viewers to visit the biz—this is perfect for someone passionate about introducing people to all the bad-ass local spots around them.
As our Social Media Marketer, your primary goal will be growing the Offline Raleigh/Durham member community. You will spend the majority of your time and energy planning, capturing, editing, and posting mouth-watering content that highlights our bad-ass Offline partners (the local businesses we send our members to every month). You'll have the autonomy to test out new formats and support from the entire Offline social team as we all react to data/feedback from our audiences across all markets to inform our Offline social strategy. You will get to be front-facing, representing our brand on Social Mediawhile building relationships with members, community influencers, and business owners. In this role, you'll take content all the way from an interview with a business to digital and written copy for our app/Social Media.
Requirements
SKILL REQUIREMENTSCONTENT CREATION. We’re looking for someone who is absolutely amazing at digital content creation, so experience in creating short-form videos, short-form copy, photos, and engaging stories is required.
CONTENT MANAGEMENT. We need someone who is detail-oriented and committed to maintaining the organization of your city's media library, content calendar, and timelines for new partner launches.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS. You'll need excellent communication skills to interview each restaurant—we're looking for someone who can get deeper than their "about us" page to create highly valuable and informative digital and written content.

TEAM- As the Social Media Marketer, you will be a part of the local RDU Market team (made up of 2 Social Media Marketers and a remote Sales team resposible for landing the amazing restaurant partnerships we have) and the Social Media Marketing team (all SMM in different markets + VP of Marketing). You will have weekly meetings with both the Social Media marketing team and your RDU market team to track progress, address issues, and brainstorm creative ideas for growth.
- Offline’s vision in the next few years is to continue to scale to several more cities. As you master the Social Media Marketer role, there will be opportunities to help grow the Offline team and take on more leadership responsibility.
Everyone at Offline is compensated through a competitive base salary plus a growth-based bonus structure. In addition:
- You will have a $250/m expense account for food/drinks/entertainment to capture content and frequent complimentary food/drinks/experiences as Offline’s Social Media Marketer.

- Offline's HQ team is located in Raleigh-Durham, and we have markets in Raleigh-Durham, Charlotte, Nashville, and Tampa. Each market team operates on a hybrid work model, working remotely and running around town for shoots, member events, and meetings.
