Position Overview:The Social Media Manager role is a freelance position requiring an average commitment of 10-12 hours per week. Your role will revolve around managing client profiles, growing their followership, and turning these followers into loyal customers and brand advocates.
You'll be part of a talented project management team, graphic designers, web developers, and bloggers, working closely with the CEO. Your assignment will be central to planning, executing, and managing our clients' online presence ensuring alignment with their brand vision.
Key Responsibilities:- Developing and executing Social Media strategies
- Nesting content calendars in line with clients' objectives
- Writing and scheduling original post copies
- Content repurposing
- Designing Canva graphics for client accounts
- Fostering and managing followership
- Social media monitoring for engagement, messages, and followers
- Responding to users' comments and reviews
- Driving consistent traffic from Social Media to websites
- Exploring strategies of increasing engagement
- Developing and reviewing performance metrics and strategies
- Staying updated with the latest trends, tools, and practices in Social Media marketing
- Collaborating with the team for effective Social Media campaigns
- 5+ years of experience in Social Media management and marketing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Suite, Dropbox, Canva, Buffer, Planoly, Later, Facebook Business Suite/Business Studio
- Expertise in Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, Instagram Stories and Reels
- Familiarity with TikTok and Snapchat
- Strong Canva design skills
- The ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
- Excellent detail-orientation to ensure high-quality content
- Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing digital landscape
- Dedicated to delivering client satisfaction
- Stable Internet connection and secure computer
- Excellent phone and email communication, time management, and organization skills
The Social Media Manager role receives compensation at the rate of $30 per hour.
