A talented Social Media Copywriter will help the Fossil owned group of brands connect with our customers. We are on a mission to create meaningful connections with accessory enthusiasts and luxury watch owners. Each Fossil brand has a unique tone of voice and approach to communication. From understanding the nuances between digital platform communication styles to collaborating with the rest of the PR & Social media department to deliver stand out headlines, video captions and product summaries. We are looking for someone who can elevate our brand communications on Social Media.

- Master at understanding tone of voice qualities with an intelligent and captivating writing style + some humor - The Fossil brand has always had a little bit of wit in the mix
- Collaborative style of working - we need someone who is a great communicator who can be a true partner to the team in content creation, idea generation and copy execution
- Excellent organizational skills to navigate multiple projects and deadlines.
- Ability to synthesize key messages to deliver high performing copy
- Continuous learner who stays up to date on best practices and trends in organic and branded Social Media content
- Ability to monitor conversations with customers as needed and engage with the audience and platform appropriately - in partnership with customer service
- Experience creating content for key platforms including TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn
- Create compelling and effective copy for Social Media posts and distributed content.
- Work closely with the marketing and creative teams to understand the company's brand and messaging, and create copy that aligns with each Fossil owned brand
- Use data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of writing, and make copy strategy adjustments as needed
- Collaborate with the rest of the Social Media team, global marketing and product category leaders
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in marketing and Social Media copywriting
- Conduct Social Media platform research to understand the target audience for each brand and create relevant and engaging copy to drive engagement and positive sentiment
- Measure and report on the success of copy impact using Social Media insights tools
- Identify and resolve challenges and issues within the Social Media copywriting process
- Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of the company's marketing copywriting process
- Optimize Social Media posts (language, tone, message) based on our target audience's behaviors

Your Skills
- 3-5 years of experience in marketing copywriting or a related field
- Strong writing and editing skills, with a portfolio of writing samples
- Familiarity with Social Media insights tools and how to extract insights associated with copywriting.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with a team
- Knowledge of the fashion industry and how to communicate effectively to cut through
- Ability to conduct self guided Social Media, competitor and brand research to maintain a differentiated approach to copywriting
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Time management and organizational skills
- Flexibility and adaptability to change
- A desire to learn and grow in the Social Media and fashion industry
- Proven work experience as a Social Media Copywriter or similar role
- Hands-on experience using various Social Media platforms to advertise
- Familiarity with online paid advertising and how organic and paid Social Media complement each other
- Ability to deliver creative content across all Social Media mediums (text, image and video)
- BSc in Marketing, Communications or relevant field
