Social Media Creator

General Description

We are seeking a talented Social Media content creator to produce on site content highlighting the iFLY experience. The ideal candidate will be skilled in ideating on-trend video and static concepts to convey the iFLY story. Your duties will cover end-to-end management of Social Media content creation, including concepting, planning, and producing content for posting across various Social Media platforms. You will serve as iFLY’s primary in-house social content producer as well as leverage, manage and direct a team of external photographers, videographers, and creators to produce content.

This position will require onsite attendance for shoots – expected 25% onsite, 75% remote work.

Primary Responsibilities

Content Creation:

• Conceptualize, plan, and produce high-quality and relevant organic and paid video and still content for Social Media platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other emerging platforms
• Create and manage social content calendar based on creator and influencer content
• Ensure brand consistency and cohesiveness across Social Media presence
• Stay current with Social Media landscape, trends, platform algorithm changes, and best practices to ensure maximum reach and engagement
• Maintain social content asset library; upload assets to DAM (Bynder) using unified file naming structure and file management techniques

Media Shoot Management

• Develop creative briefs, storyboards, and shot lists for shoots
• Coordinate among Marketing team, tunnel staff, and production team to schedule and execute shoots
• Recruit and manage roster of external photographers, videographers, influencers, and other content creators; direct and collaborate with external creators as necessary to enhance the creative process
• Manage and select on-camera talent, ranging from first time to experienced flyers/iFLY instructors; collaborate with iFLY staff and instructors to direct flight maneuvers and tricks

Analytics & Reporting

• Track and regularly report on content performance metrics
• Use data insights to inform and refine content strategy and enhance audience engagement

Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience of proven success as a social content creator
• Must have experience as an indoor camera operator and still photographer using phone and/or DSLR camera with small scale lighting setups (eg gimbal and ring light); must submit relevant work samples
• Must have experience working with and editing green screen backgrounds
• Must have experience designing and creating animations, GIFs, videos, and other multimedia formats optimized for Social Media
• Comfortable being responsible for the full process from shoot to final delivery, including concepting, editing, shooting, and post-production
• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Premiere Rush, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Animate, Canva, CapCut, ChatGPT, Microsoft Suite, Data Asset Management (Bynder)
• Available to attend shoots on-site at least twice a month
• Based in one of the following metro areas:
  • Sacramento/San Francisco Bay Area, CA
  • Greater Los Angeles/San Diego, CA
  • Ft. Lauderdale/Orlando/Tampa, Florida
  • Chicago, IL
  • DC/Baltimore, MD
  • New York tri-state area (CT, NJ, greater NYC)
  • DFW/Houston, TX
• Must be available to travel onsite to various tunnel locations
