Social Media Coordinator

General Purpose of Position

The Social Media Coordinator shapes the online presence of Proverbs 31 Ministries by creating engaging biblical content that resonates with our audience and fosters community across various Social Media platforms. This role ensures that we have Social Media content that reflects the heart and mission of Proverbs 31 Ministries.

Essential Duties:

• Ideate, plan, and produce high-quality and relevant video, still, and written content for various Social Media platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, and Tiktok.
• Write compelling and concise social copy that captures attention, communicates key messages, and encourages user interaction.
• Stay current with Social Media trends, platform algorithm changes, and industry best practices to ensure content remains relevant and optimized for maximum reach and engagement.
• Schedule and monitor content and engage with Proverbs 31 followers on Social Media platforms.

Skills, Experience & Proficiencies:

• Personal belief in the mission of Proverbs 31 Ministries.
• A minimum of two years experience in Social Media content creation, showcasing ability to drive substantial viewership.
• Aesthetic sensibility to curate visually appealing images and videos.
• Exceptional writing skills, enabling the crafting of captivating descriptions to enhance content impact.
• Strong organizational skills to create and manage content schedules strategically.
• Comfort and confidence in front of the camera, ensuring engaging on-screen presence.
• Collaborative mindset to facilitate effective teamwork with Social Media team members and other cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency with: Google calendar, Zoom, AWS, Helpscout, HubSpot, Volgistics, Basecamp, Facebook Business Suite and Google spreadsheets.
• Communications degree preferred.
