Shipping/Receiving Clerk

JOB PURPOSE:

To ensure shipping and receiving of products for company are done adequately and in a timely fashion.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Preparing shipments; packaging and boxing parts.
• Preparing paperwork for shipments (ex: packing slips, bill of lading, barcode labels, etc.)
• Checking in items that have been delivered against packing slip
• Internal delivery of items to their correct location/department
• Processing of receiving paperwork
• Preparing parts to go into stock/ out of stock or to ship
• Driving of a company vehicle to pick up and/or deliver may be required on an as needed basis.
• Reading travelers, understanding all pertinent information in regards to the jobs being done. Filling out all paperwork required.
• Lifting and moving parts/pallets up to 50 lbs
• Driving forklift
• Cleaning work area as needed.
• Following all policies, including company, safety, state and federal rules and regulations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
