The Shipping and Receiving Administrator ensures the receiving, shipping and transfer of all Peju wine is completed on time and in perfect condition. Tis role will assist the Warehouse Supervisor with all aspects of order processing, from packing and receiving merchandise and data entry into AMS, UPS and FedEx software. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders including suppliers, carriers, and internal departments. Requirements:- Prepare shipping documents, including bills of lading, packing slips, and shipping labels.
- Ensure proper packaging and labeling of outgoing shipments to minimize the risk of damage during transit.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders and customs brokers to facilitate international shipments and ensure compliance with import/export regulations.
- Monitor shipment statuses and track deliveries to ensure timely arrival at their destination.
- Receive incoming shipments and verify their contents against packing lists, purchase orders or shipping manifests.
- Inspect received goods for damages or defects and report any discrepancies to the appropriate parties.
- Record and maintain accurate inventory records of incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments to schedule shipments and deliveries.
- Communicate with customers and internal stakeholders regarding shipment status updates, delays, and other relevant information.
- Investigate and resolve any shipping-related issues, such as lost or damaged shipments, shipping errors, and delivery discrepancies.
JOB REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum two (2) years experience in a computerized shipping/order processing environment.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Forklift certified within one month of hire.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including, but not limited to, Teams, Word, Excel, and Access.
- Ability to gain proficiency on order processing system within three months of hire.
- Proficiency in using shipping software and inventory management systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to meet assigned deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally and external stakeholders.
