POSITION SUMMARY:
As a Shipping Associate, you will perform a variety of tasks within our warehouse including loading trucks and unloading trucks utilizing an electrical forklift, maintain warehouse arrangement, oversee placement of stock and maximize space utilization to accommodate current stock as well as spot check stock inventory; verify accuracy of records; assure proper storage conditions and practices. Successful candidates must maintain a great attendance record and must be able to work overtime, weekends and 2nd shift.
In charge of loading product to trucks from the warehouse utilizing Electrical forklifts and stage/load product from racks to the dock area.
Perform Warehouse preventative maintenance on forklifts, printers, and docks.
Accomplish warehouse inventory as needed (packaging materials and end product).
Transport non-quality product to hold area to be inspected and dump no-quality product to the dump site.
Other duties as required by supervision, none of which will require a physical or mental ability that is not already needed to perform other duties specifically listed.
REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or GED Equivalent
1 year of forklift experience in a production, manufacturing, industrial, military or related environment
The approximate hourly pay for this position is $23.72. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position.
