As part of GroundWork’s (GR) growth strategy, we are seeking a Shipping Coordinator to play a key role in directly coordinating all aspects of shipping logistics for GR’s production facility.

Position Overview:
The selected candidate will be responsible for remotely verifying the quality of metrological station installations, which includes both mechanical and data verification.
- This postion requires an aptitude for both detailed desk work as well as physically pulling, packing, and shipping materials.
- End-to-end ownership over responding to ad-hoc requests for materials to be shipped to specified location. Additionally, support the Shop Manager with other related activities.
- Keep the inventory system current and proactively ensure supplies are stocked.

Skills/Qualifications:
- 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Must be a critical thinker with exceptional attention to detail.
- Must be highly organized and a self-starter.
- Hands-on experience software tools for communication and logistics management.
- Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems.
- Hands-on experience with picking and packing industrial materials for shipping.
- Ability to coordinate courier pickups and adhere to shipping best practices and regulations.
- Able and willing to prepare materials for shipping (e.g., inspect and clean or replace tools).
- Ability to install and verify software on computers.
- Process focused and willing to form, refine and document processes.
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google tools.
Major Pluses:
- College education or equivalent.
- Hands-on experience with solar or renewable energy production and/or meteorological measurement equipment (e.g., pyranometers, data loggers).
