Receiving
- Ability to break things down from a pallet to small package.
- Receive items on multiple purchase orders/packing slips using an RF scanner/gun.
- Receive items from UPS and distribute to the repair warehouse, production warehouse, primary shipment warehouse.
- Transfer items from receiving dock to primary warehouse bin locations using RF scanner/gun. Ability to lift routinely 25-30 pounds. Some packages weigh 50-75 pounds.
- Ability to palletize large shipments and prepare shipping documents for pick up.
- Motivated in working with other departments to get packages shipped.
- Responsible for inventory both receiving and shipping.
Shipping
- Familiar with UPS and FedEx shipping software.
- Understanding prepay and add shipments, collect shipments, and third party shipments.
- Ability ble to pick items from bins, consolidate parts, and shipping packages using an RF scanner/gun.
- Ability to use hand tools to do assembly/build complete product out of a component list. Most packages are 25-30 pounds. Some packages are 50 pounds. Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
- Responsible for inventory both receiving and shipping.
- No forklift experience needed for either job.
This is a fast paced job. We are a small company and rely on each other to get product/shipments out the door. While the job has little supervision; team work, self motivated, and a get it done attitude is what we need to be successful. This is a Monday through Friday, 8a-5p job. Two paid 15 min breaks (10a-10:15a and 3p3:15p) and a one hour (unpaid) lunch. Some occasions might require needing to stay late to finish shipping or wait for freight companies when delayed. Typically one Saturday a quarter (every three months) for inventory or other warehouse duties.
