- Manage, train, and coach team members to ensure policies, procedures, and expectations are adhered to.
- Supervise the day-to-day operations of IOSF staff and train the Shipping Lead.
- Monitor inventory levels of boxes, shipping supplies and inventoried assets.
- Oversee the shipping dock areas and transferring of assets into and out of the building.
- Able to solve conflicts within the department and maintain a good working environment for the shipping staff.
- Keep Employee records: weekly timecards, attendance points annual reviews, write ups etc.
- High School Degree or GED equivalent required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Detailed oriented and following specific order instructions.
- Must be able to multi-task and run a daily board of all orders in and out.
- 6 months+ of management experience with a minimum of 4 or more employees.
- Computer Knowledge using email and Teams as means of communication.
- Must have previous experience working in a warehouse type of environment.
- Detailed orientated.
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation
- Must be able to work an 8- hour shift while performing the duties of this job
- Must be able to regularly bend, twist, and reach
- Use a pallet jack to move equipment from dock to work station
- Must be able to handle computer equipment by reading and identifying serial printed letters, numbers, symbols, and model information with a small font size
- Forklift Certified is a plus, must receive within 6 months of employment.
- Knowledge of the Shipworks and label making process
- Familiar with UPS / FDX / USPS and other shipping vendors.
- Knowledge of IT equipment and standard shipping equipment/tools.
- Familiar and able to efficiently use the Iinvision Inventory Software
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds for daily processing of orders.
- Must be outgoing, energetic, and able to prioritize workflow.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and share knowledge with others.
- Strong problem-solving skills, the ability to think critically, and the ability to make logical decisions.
- Good leadership skills and be able to motivate others and train as needed.
- Must be able to resolve conflicts and work in a warehouse environment.
- Good Communication Skills (written and oral) and organizational skills.
