This Garland company is a 3PL distributor with multiple customers. Their largest customer is a plumbing parts manufacturer.
As a Shipping Clerk you will be supporting the General Manager and Operations Manager. They are looking for someone with strong problem-solving skills, multitasking abilities, excellent organizational capabilities, and a good understanding of bills of lading and invoicing in an office role. Having experience in bookkeeping or accounts receiving/accounts payable is a plus!
This full-time, temporary-to-hire job provides a great opportunity to add to your skills and grow with this organization.
Shipping Clerk Job Duties:
- Customer service and dispatching
- Coordinating Flow Between Drivers and Shippers
- Generating BOLs and invoicing
- Create and modify various documents using MS Office
- Auditing orders, locating product, and supporting customer inquiries
Shipping Clerk Requirements:
- 1 year of experience as a Shipping Clerk, auditing, and receiving.
- Intermediate computer and math skills
- Strong communication, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to navigate challenging situations with customers
- Reach Truck or Stand-Up forklift experience preferred.
Pay: $18-$19 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday; 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
