Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Service Delivery Manager to be responsible for maintaining strong customer relationships and assisting in improving services to maintain customer satisfaction. The Service Delivery Manager may perform technical tasks, such as troubleshooting technical issues, and may perform administrative tasks, such as managing the team's performance and ensuring the quality of Service Delivery. The main tasks of a Service Delivery Manager include managing projects, fixing reliability issues, tracking service metrics, managing key SLA's, and leading the Service Delivery team.
To be a successful Service Delivery Manager, you should demonstrate strong leadership and teamwork skills. You should also demonstrate excellent communication and organization skills.
Service Delivery Manager Responsibilities:
- Planning resources and projects, managing scheduling and priority conflicts, and ensuring the team's processes and tasks are carried out efficiently.
- Ensuring SLA commitments and customer deadlines are met.
- Identifying customer needs and overseeing Service Delivery.
- Capturing gaps in operational processes and implementing improvements.
- Coordinating technical and process training for team based on gaps.
- Making sure documentation is current and accurate
- Maintaining positive relationships with customers and provide timely communication of status.
- Meeting with customers to review cases and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Manage System Analyst to ensure culture and engagement remain high
Service Delivery Manager Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in a Business-related field or equivalent experience
- Experience in Linux systems management
- Excellent computer skills and proficient in the user of Microsoft Office tools, service management software and general tools for business management
- Excellent communication, project management, and quality control skills.
- Excellent leadership and customer service skills.
- Good resource planning skills.
- Remaining organized and meeting deadlines.
- Strong teamwork skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in service management and logistics may be advantageous.
