Service Coordinator

You will serve as V A Home Care’s Case Manager/Service Coordinator in Greensburg, PA (Westmoreland County). The case manager will collaborate with clients to provide quality service and to ensure clients get the services they need. This is a heavy customer service base position. As the Case Manager is often the initial contact, having good people skills is a MUST. You will also need to build strong relationships with our partners and service providers to ensure clients receive the best care possible. Highly qualified candidates that apply will be highly considered for the chance of becoming Marketing Manager/Marketing Director in the area.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Assess the service needs of clients and connect them with the correct provider.
• Create and maintain a directory of service providers and resources.
• Create and maintain a database of clients and client needs.
• Assess problems with clients and make recommendations for solving the issue.
• Ensure each client is given the necessary services and follow up to fill ongoing service needs.
• Maintain good relationships with service providers and clients to keep customer base.
• Expand the list of resources and providers to ensure there are no gaps in services.
• Answer telephones and respond to email inquiries in the office.
• Must be able to travel.
• Other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• None.

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of industry experience or a related customer service experience required.
• Proficient skills in Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent customer service, problem-solving skills, and organizational skills.
• The ability to work well under deadlines and to multi-task.
• The ability to form partnerships and alliances in the community.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Education/Experience:

• This role requires a high school graduation, although a postsecondary degree is preferred.
• At least one-two years’ related experience required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $19.01 - $22.90 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
